We are a 100-acre (40ha) tropical nature preserve and lodge with horses, chickens, dogs, and cats located in the jungle northeast of Quepos. There are beautiful waterfalls, swimming ponds, fruit trees, and wildlife on our property. Enjoy over 5km of hiking trails through our jungle and enjoy the refreshing river ponds surrounded by pure nature! The ponds are only a 15min walk away from the guesthouse. Please note that our restaurant is not open to the public. We offer to prepare a dinner for you provided you let us know in advance, at least by 16:00 the same day. We cook fresh every day, please ask what is on the menu for that day. Dinner is served around 18:30 at our Rancho next to the pool in a private and comfortable setting.

I was born and raised in Austria and spent most of my career working internationally. In 2017 I started a new life in Costa Rica where I love fauna, flora and people. I am fluent in German and English, speak reasonable Spanish and understand basic French. I love to ride the horses when time allows and to learn something new every day.

We are virtually located in the Rainforest. At night you will only hear the sound of the jungle and be able to admire the stars, it is almost magical. During the day you can watch for a variety of wildlife. Most frequently we see: squirrel monkeys, small and large lizards, iguanas, the blue morpho butterfly and plenty of birds, especially the chestnut mandible toucan. However, we are only 20 minutes away from Quepos and 30 minutes from famous Manuel Antonio with its park and beautiful beaches.
