Our Story – The New Wave of Our Life We are Orlane and Arnaud, two French people with itchy feet. We've always had this need for travel, this desire to see the world, to immerse ourselves in new cultures, and to get off the beaten track. We've settled down just about everywhere, always in search of that little thrill that makes a place feel like home. And then, one day, we discovered Colombia. It was love at first sight. Everything here captivated us: the raw beauty of the landscapes, the kindness of the people, the vibrant energy of the country. And then, we stumbled upon this place. A seaside maloca, hidden between the jungle and the ocean, on a wild beach just a stone's throw from Palomino. The perfect place to do what we love most: welcome, share, and create a unique experience for those who, like us, seek escape. This is how Nueva Onda – “The New Wave” – was born. A name that resonates with our history: a new beginning, a new way of traveling, simpler, more authentic, more connected to what matters most.
