OCTOBER INN has been around for just over a year and is already one of the most popular hostels in Lijiang. October Inn is located 15 minutes from Lijiang Old Town in a quiet area close to the Elephant Hill. October Inn is an international hostel with English speaking staff. The hostel staff members enjoy meeting people from all around the world, and you yourself will make a lot of new friends at October Inn! By climbing the Elephant Hill for 10-15 minutes and then descending, you can get to the BLACK DRAGON POOL and enter for FREE! Directions are available at the hostel. Every Monday the hostel arranges a guided climb up the Elephant Hill. If you are looking forward to go to the amazing TIGER LEAPING GORGE hiking route, you have to look no further! At October Inn the staff will book the bus ticket for you. Every morning you can go by bus all the way to the start of the hike, which is located in Qiaotou village, 2.5 hours from Lijiang. A staff member from the hostel will follow you all the way to the bus, which is a 10 minute walk, and make sure you get on the right one. From the end of the hike you can continue to Shangri-La or come back to Lijiang.
