The Guangdong Victory Hotel (Guangdong Shengli Binguan) is located on Shamian Island. The area, with all its colonial European buildings, leafy boulevards and shady parks, has been restored after the island's tumultuous history, transforming it into a Western paradise. Metro Lines 1 and 6 can be taken at Huangsha Station but a short walk from the island, facilitating guests’ commute around the city. The Guangdong Victory Hotel (Guangdong Shengli Binguan) guestrooms follow a fusion of Asian-Western styles and are designed to provide guests with all home comforts throughout their stay on the island. Each room offers all the standard amenities such as Internet access and in-room safes. Dining options include Western and Chinese cuisines Buffet breakfast, a la carte items and room service are all available. A coffee shop welcomes guests in the vast lobby area. Guests traveling for business can make use of the hotel's business center and its services, as well as conference rooms and a function hall, which can readily accommodate any event or meeting. For recreation, guests should definitely go out and explore the island, but the hotel houses many enjoyable facilities including an elevated pool, a large billiards room,as well as a fully equipped gym. Guests are required to show a valid government-issued ID card or passport upon check-in. For guests who book the breakfast-included rate: - children under 1.2 metres can enjoy breakfast for free (for a maximum of 2 children) - children between 1.2-1.4 metres (inclusive) are ￥44/person. - children above 1.4 metres are charged the full price. During Canton Fair period (from 15 April to 5 May and from 15 October to 4 November), the hotel offers: - Free shuttle bus between the hotel and Pazhou Complex - Welcome fruit - Canton Fair registration desk in the hotel The rooftop outdoor swimming pool is open. Please note that the property has 2 separated buildings at different address. East Building: No.53 North Shamian Street, Liwan District West Building:No.54 Shamian Street.
