RiverSide Camp, operated by Chile Nativo Travel, opened its doors in 2016 at Camping Serrano, within Torres del Paine National Park. Along the way we implemented numerous improvements: managing our restaurant, installing platforms, and setting up our new Lottus Belle tents.
Following the pandemic, we decided to take a new step by relocating to the beautiful Villa Serrano, where we introduced sustainability initiatives and enhancements like private bathrooms, continuous electricity, and eco-friendly materials.
Just months after our reopening, RiverSide Camp continues to grow to offer the best and most sustainable experience possible. Join us on this exciting journey.

At Chile Nativo Riverside Camp, we're committed to sustainability, pioneering the use of Eco Wood in Chilean accommodation. Thanks to our partnership with Patagonia Circular, we're proud to be the first camp in Chile built with recycled plastic, rescuing over 20 tons of plastic from landfills and preserving 100 native trees. Our platforms, walkways, viewpoints, and outdoor furniture are all made entirely from recycled plastic, reducing CO2 emissions by 80 pounds and saving 40,000 cubic meters of water. We're also pioneers in Zero Waste Food Preparation, utilizing specialized technology to reuse all organic waste in our kitchen, reducing waste by over 80%. Additionally, we exclusively use biodegradable products from the Freemet brand to prevent pollution of Patagonia's waters. Committed to ecotourism, we're continuously seeking ways to enhance our sustainability efforts, including transitioning to renewable energies for our camp's operation.
