Located on Rarotonga’s sheltered sunset coast, Castaway Resort is a laid-back adults-only escape offering fully self-catering accommodation just steps from the sand. Choose from our range of comfortable room types: Poolview Studios, Poolside Studio, Oceanview Studios, Beachside Studios, and spacious Two-Bedroom Apartments — some located right on the beach with stunning lagoon views. All rooms are air-conditioned, equipped with full amenities, and styled with light, airy décor that captures the relaxed tropical vibe of the island. Enjoy our absolute beachfront location, sparkling swimming pool, complimentary snorkelling gear, and free beach towels for your days in the sun. Dine at our popular Castaway Beach Bar, where you can savour mouth-watering island flavours with lagoon views, or enjoy a barefoot dining experience on the sand while watching magical Rarotongan sunsets. We are within walking distance of local restaurants and car rental services. Onsite parking is available, along with street parking nearby, and the bus stop right outside the resort offers easy access to Avarua town and island tours.
