A beautiful castle towers above the town, within 4 minutes walking distance. The medieval old town with very little traffic – a protected historic monument, the lake promenade, varied excursion possibilities and easy access to Zurich make our apartment particularly suitable for business and holiday travelers alike. Rapperswil, town of roses located on Lake Zurich, combines sights, cultural life, hiking and sports possibilities with a Mediterranean holiday atmosphere. It is the riviera located on Lake Zurich!

Located in the heart of the charming Old Town of Rapperswil, a 3 min walk from the train station, and right next to Lake Zurich (50 meters) with great lakeside restaurants, scenic lake promenade, and shopping nearby make our spacious duplex apartment a wonderful destination. Zurich is only a 35 min train ride away - every 15 min and until late. Our spacious duplex apartment is surrounded by picturesque cafés, shops and restaurants, and Rapperswil's gorgeous lake promenade. The apartment has a stylish living room, fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Baby crib available on request. The apartment offers a Nespresso machine, a fridge, a cooking stove, microwave, oven, and dishes. Bathroom with a shower and hairdryer, towels and bedlinen are included. Free use of private washing machine and tumble dryer. Free WIFI, Netflix and TV. Since the apartment is in the heart of the Old Town, there is no parking next to the house. There are 2 covered payable parking areas within 3 minutes walking distance: Parkhaus See and City Parkhaus.

Our apartment is surrounded by picturesque cafés, shops and restaurants, and Rapperswil's gorgeous lake promenade. Rapperswil is also the region's transport hub and easily accessible from Zurich by public transport (train connections every 15 min throughout the day and until late night). The train station is a 3 min walk from the apartment. Roses decorate the coat of arms of the town and all colours of this gorgeous flower bloom in three rose gardens near our apartment. In addition to the lake dam for road and rail, a wooden bridge for pedestrians provides access to the other side of the lake. This wooden bridge also happens to be the longest wooden bridge in Switzerland. Rapperswil is also an embarkation point for the regular ship services on Lake Zurich, including two authentic paddle steamers, to Zurich. Knie's Children's Zoo is a particular attraction for children and circus fans, located just a 10 minutes walk from our apartment. On the other side of the lake is Alpamare, featuring a wide range of water slides and wellness treatments.
