House Mojo

He has been born and raised in Zermatt and worked for many years as snowmaker in the mountains. I grew up in The Netherlands and came to Zermatt a couple of years ago. Since the winter of 2019 we work as a team, Team Mojo, and try to make your stay as pleasant as possible. We have travelled a lot and worked in the hospitality industry. This experience of being a guest and being a host, is something we try to implement on a daily basis in House Mojo. The feeling of “being welcome” is the main experience we try to give to all our customers. We love the place, the view, the nature and we are more than happy to share this happiness with as many people as possible.

We are Unique because we are one of the few who can say to have an un interrupted Matterhorn view from every balcony and living room! We are located on the outside of the Village on a easy 10 minut walk or a 3 minut busride. We have a bus stop in front of our door which takes you to the village and all other gondola stations in Zermatt. This means no more dragging with skies! The "Most important" ski lift is situated not more than a 2 minut walk from the property. This lift will bring you to the all year round ski area and the Italian boarder. All facilities needed are in-house, a heated ski-room, a secure (e-) bike storage place, elevator and facilities to dry and wash your clothes. We love nature and we know it is our generation that has the responsability to act. So we are the first in Zermatt who have a full photovoltaic rooftop system. Which means that we use for the majority of time our own solar energy.

The neighbourhood is nice and quiet. There are some small, but very good, local restaurants and bars. An easy 2 minute walk brings you to the gondola that goes all the way to the highest top, Klein Matterhorn. Here you can ski all year round and also cross the Italian boarder. If you want to visit the centre of Zermatt, this is possible. It takes you 10- 15minuts to walk there, or take a bus that stops in front of our door and you will be there in less than 5 minutes. In the village there are more bars, restaurants, clubs and shops. Because we live in a very quite area, we try to respect that and integrat that serene feeling in our house with some small rules; no pets, no kids and silence in the building after 22:00.
