We’re a Swiss–Australian family living right here in Vitznau, and we love welcoming guests from all over the world. Our household language is a cheerful mix of English and Swiss German — we call it Swinglish. Philipp grew up in Vitznau, while Karen moved from Australia in 2003. Together we have twin daughters, Alessandra and Maliyah, who are always curious about where our guests are coming from and enjoy the international feel that Chalet Oz brings to our home. You may also meet our two rescue dogs. Milla prefers to keep a low profile, while Ossi is a little more curious and always interested in what’s going on. As a family who loves to travel ourselves, we know how important it is to feel comfortable, relaxed and genuinely welcome when away from home. That’s exactly why we created Chalet Oz — a place to slow down, enjoy nature, and experience Switzerland in a more personal way. We live just next door, so we’re happy to share local tips, restaurant ideas or hiking suggestions whenever you need them.
