Our house was built in 1965 on the grounds of a medieval monastery. The spacious holiday apartment is located 1 floor above ground floor. All rooms with windows, views of mountains, garden and Japanese Garden. Fully equipped to host up to 7 people. 1 bathroom (toilet, shower).

Our neighbourhood "Schlossquartier" (castle quarter) is the historical center of Interlaken with 2 churches (protestant & catholic)and old buildings of a former monastery (now administrative offices), all located in a public park about 100m from our house. Our house is located directly on the main street connecting Interlaken Ost (east) with Interlaken West. Just 10m from the entrance is the "Japanese Garden", and in 150m distance the "English Garden" along the river Aare. In 5 minutes walk your reach Interlaken Ost station, and in 4 minutes the base station of "Harder" mountain funicular. From the top, you have great views of Interlaken and the Jungfrau region (funicular & restaurant open spring to autumn). There's something for everyone: quiet spots to relax in the surrounding parks and nature, but also many restaurants, bars and shops.
