Kim has been a professional artist for the last 30 years. She has worked in theatre, painting large backdrops for Broadway shows, been a sign painter and illustrator of children's books. She is also a gardener extraordinaire ( much of the food you will eat here was grown here!) Kim loves traveling and meeting new people from all over and looks forward to hosting you in her beautiful home!

This beautiful century home is being lovingly restored by the owner, with an artistic flair. Curl up by the woodstove in the colder months and enjoy the comfortable living room. Pull out a puzzle or a game and take in the late afternoon sun and the deer roaming in the woodland across the road. Spread out your maps on the big dining room table. Enjoy an evening snack and in the morning a healthy filling breakfast to give you the energy for a day of exploring. Wander the paths through the gardens and end your day by the fire pit with a beverage.

A historic ship building neighbourhood, once a bustling community, now a quiet place where neighbours are friendly and three beautiful and different beaches are just down the road. Government dock around the corner on Strang’s lane to put in your boat or kayak. Hiking along the Barrington Rail Trail with entrance to the trail just a few houses down. River Hills golf course is less than 5 minute drive away. It’s a short drive to Barrington and Cape Sable Island where you’ll find more beautiful beaches. Or take a quick trip up the road to the historic and quaint town of Shelburne. So much to do and see!
