Here at Knotty Pine Cottages we are nestled between two mountains, with beautiful view of Ingonish Harbor, and the Atlantic ocean. Guests can enjoy the most stunning sunsets and sunrises, as well as enjoy the night sky, from their private deck or patio. We offer a wide variety of accommodations ranging from our brand new luxury cabins, to our full cottages and suites with kitchenettes, or our economy suites and motel rooms. We have something for everyone's needs. All of our rooms have full bathrooms with bathtubs. Two of our luxury cabins offer an open concept bedroom/bathroom featuring a beautiful soaker tub overlooking the water. New this year we are have an new licensed restaurant, Fishmanès Kitchen open onsite, featuring yummy homemade Chinese dumplings, sandwiches, breakfast, drinks, and snacks. For the winter months our luxury cabins are closed. However you can still come and take in the beautiful Cape Breton snow in our fully insulated suites, cottages, and motel rooms. Some of which also feature fireplaces to add that extra warmth on a cold winter night.

We are located directly on the world famous Cabot Trail, only minutes before Ingonish. In the summer months you can hike, swim, play tennis, explore beaches and waterfalls, and much more at the Cape Breton Highlands National Park. We are only minutes away for Ski Cape Smokey which offers a variety of activities year round. Also close by is Cape Smokey Provincial Park, which has beautiful trails, and picnic areas. Golf at the world famous Highland Links golf course, which is just a short drive away. Enjoy many local restaurants and shops in the quaint Ingonish area. In the winter months it is a slower pace of life here on the island, but there is still so much to explore. Being only minutes to Ski Cape Smokey, you can partake in skiing, snowboarding, tubing, and so much more. You may also enjoy snowshoeing the trails throughout the area. We are also located 20 minutes away from enjoying the beautifully groomed snowmobile trails for those who have a need for speed. Or you may simply like to relax and enjoy the view.
