Originally from Vancouver Canada we fell in love with Placencia during a trip to Belize. After deciding to make it our second home we decided to purchase a little hotel. Alux House gabbed our hearts. Inspired by a New Orleans Garden District home, we were sold the minute we laid eyes on her.

Alux House is a whimsical guest house located on a narrow windy lane in Placencia Village, in Stann Creek District, Belize. Located steps from the famous side walk and a few more to the ocean Alux House is a great place to make memories. Alux offers guest access to free amenities, such as standup paddle boards, fishing rods, beach chairs an blankets. We also offer access to free play pen and high chairs for our youngest guests. Put your wallets away as Alux believes memories should be free.
