Turtle spawning beaches, Atlantic Forest reserves, whale watching and natural reefs are an invitation to contemplation and rest. In addition to the sea, feet in the sand and good Bahian food, visiting this region is also seeing Brazil in the 16th century. The region has the only medieval-style ruin in the country, the Garcia D’Ávila Castle, and a 1961 chapel located in the fishermen's village, which also houses shops and restaurants.
