根据巴西联邦法律（Brazilian Federal Law）8.069/1990号规定，18岁以下的未成年人必须在父母或一位指定成人的陪同下方可入住酒店。如果未成年人由其父母以外的成年人陪同，在办理入住手续时则需出示书面授权书，该授权书必须经过公证并由父母双方签字，此外还需出示父母双方经过公证的身份证件复印件。
所有18岁以下的未成年人还需出示附有照片的有效身份证件，以证明自己及其父母的身份。即使未成年人由其父母陪同，也必须出示身份证件。
若未成年人仅由父母中的一方陪同，则需出示由缺席一方签字且经公证的授权书及其身份证件的公证复印件。
