Atlantica Jungle Lodge is a retreat for those who enjoy being immersed in nature, away from the busy areas of Ilha Grande. The lodge offers only four rooms, facing the sea and the forest, in a privileged location about a 15-minute walk from Lopes Mendes Beach. A place of tranquility, exclusivity, and natural beauty. As the lodge is located within a preserved area of the island, there is no public electricity grid available on site. The property operates with a hybrid system combining solar energy and a diesel generator. Internet access, fans, and hot water are available in the rooms 24 hours a day. Air conditioning depends on the operation of the diesel generator and is not available 24 hours a day. During autumn, winter, and spring, the generator operates daily from 06h00 pm to 11:00 pm. In summer, it operates from 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm. On exceptionally warm nights, when the ambient temperature remains above 24 °C (75 °F), the generator may operate throughout the night, from 6:00 pm until 7:00 am the following day. This operating schedule is part of the experience of staying in a remote and preserved area of Ilha Grande. We kindly emphasize that, due to the remote location, air conditioning is not available 24 hours a day, as described on this property page.
