"Maroli Consulting" OOD is a local company, with registered seat in the village of Vrav. The Manager is Steen Hansen. The company can issue an invoice, upon request. "Maroli House 2" is registered by Bregovo municipality as a touristic site/accommodation type "C" in accordance with the Bulgarian Tourism Act, namely- guestrooms, respectively with a capacity of 1 bed, and of 2 beds (double bed). We are legally obliged to register all tourists in the online tourist registration system (ESTI) upon arrival, which is why you need to show us your ID.

"Maroli House 2 "offers accommodation for one or two people. in a rural house from the 1950s (with an inside bathroom and toilet), which has been updated in the last decade, while keeping as much as possible the original features of the house. Тhe furnishing is a mix of original-retro finds from the area and furniture from Scandinavia. The guests can prepare their own food in the kitchenette, or order dinner or breakfast. There is a fridge with cold soft drinks and beers, at prices of 1 to 3 euro. Per request, we can also provide wine or do some shopping for the guests. We accept cash or card payments. The house has an open parking in front with a gate that can be locked. Tourists can use also the seating and eating areas in the yard,. The village of Vrav is situated on the Danube, some 15 km from the border with Serbia and is on the EuroVelo 6 route. The location is suitable for bicyclists and bikers, but also people travelling by car. You're most welcome!:-)

The village of Vrav (Vruv) is a small, quiet village that people often describe as sleepy and nostalgic. It is a great place if you want to re-charge, de-stress and sleep, or you are travelling to/from Serbia. Vrav (Vruv) is on the EuroVelo bike route nr.6 (or the Bulgarian equivalent, "Danube Ultra"), and is situated 15 km from the Serbian border and 30 km from the Romanian one. The region (northwestern Bulgaria) is a far cry from the standard of living in the big cities and the popular resorts in Bulgaria, and accordingly, the village and the ambience around our accommodation might not meet the typical "rural tourism" expectations. The village is well connected but without asphalt on the streets, it can get dusty or muddy. Occasionally, one might see free goats, sheep or chickens in the streets but it kind of adds a certain charm to the general nostalgic/de-industrialized feel of the place. Over the last century, the population in the village has dropped from 2000 to 200 people, which is reflected in vast number of empty, often even abandoned or dilapidated houses, amongst which there are some interesting examples of the so-called "Danube architecture", found also in the neighbouring villages. Vrav (Vruv) is on the Danube, and if you like fishing, birdwatching or walking on the beach, it is the right place for a short holiday. Swimming is not recommended, as the river current is extremely strong- there are better swimming conditions in the neighbouring village of Novo selo. As far as day-trip recommendations, you can visit the wine cellars of the villages of Rogljevo and in Rajac in Serbia, the architecture of which is quite extraordinary, or for a gourmet experience, try the winetasting or wine-and-dine at the family-owned Matalj Winery outside Negotin in Serbia. The staff speaks English and you will get excellent service, value for money, and great food and wine. Crossing the border to Serbia and back is quick and hassle-free.
