Welcome to Katerina Guest House – a place lovingly designed to offer priceless moments and unforgettable experiences in a peaceful, clean, and naturally beautiful setting. Here, life slows down. You can lie back on the soft green grass, pick cherries straight from the tree, watch a stork fly gracefully above, listen to the gentle murmur of the river, breathe in the aroma of blooming flowers and wild herbs, and simply rediscover the beauty of life. One of our greatest priorities was to create a garden that brings people together. A space where families with children and groups of friends can share time – cooking meals together, enjoying them under the open sky, playing games, talking, laughing, creating, and making memories that last. With love and passion, we cultivated our garden to be more than just a backdrop – it’s a living part of the experience. We grow fragrant herbs and spices, sweet strawberries and raspberries, and a wide variety of vegetables and fruit trees. From early spring to late autumn, the garden gives generously. And we love to share that abundance with our guests – in the form of freshly picked produce or homemade preserves that warm the soul. You’re always welcome to taste the fruits of our labor – literally. Because here, at Katerina Guest House, you're not just visiting. Experience a different kind of getaway at Katerina Guest House – where comfort meets authenticity and nature becomes part of your stay. Katerina Guest House is located in the peaceful town of Kocherinovo, in the Kyustendil region, just a few kilometers from Blagoevgrad and nestled by the Rilska River. Unlike a traditional hotel, staying here offers a uniquely personal and private experience. Whether you’re a couple or a group of 8–10 people, you’ll enjoy exclusive access to the entire 200 m² house, complete with a beautifully landscaped garden and spacious green yard. The house spreads over two floors and blends modern amenities with the charm of a cozy countryside home. It features four bedrooms – two doubles and two triples – each with a private bathroom. On the first floor, you’ll find a fully equipped kitchen and dining area with seating for 10, a spacious living room with a fireplace, soft furniture, and a 52-inch TV. One of the bedrooms, with two single beds, is also located on this floor. Upstairs, the remaining three bedrooms include: • Two rooms with a large bed and a cozy sofa chair • One room with two single beds Each room has its own balcony, offering serene views of the Rilska River. The entire house is equipped with free Wi-Fi and modern heating via a heat pump system. Outside, guests can enjoy a large private yard with a covered seating area, wooden tables and benches, a built-in barbecue and a traditional oven – all available year-round. In our organic garden, you are welcome to pick seasonal vegetables, herbs, and fruits – a special touch that adds real flavor to your meals. A ping-pong table and free private parking are also available. A grocery store is located nearby. Whether you're here for relaxation or adventure, the nearby Rila and Pirin Mountains offer activities such as rafting, trekking, horseback riding, fishing, cycling, skiing, and snowboard. Barakovo is a village with a rich history, located just a step away from the beauties of the Rila Mountain. There are amazing places in the area that are worth visiting. They fill you with positive energy and make you enjoy the small moments, turning them into precious family memories over time. The places that our guests often visit include the Rila Monastery, the Ruensky Monastery, Ivan Rilski's Cave, the Stob Pyramids, the Seven Rila Lakes, the Old Town "Varosha," Melnik, Rupite, and Bansko.
