We are Mieke&Gerry. We searched for a long time for a place where we could enjoy peace and nature. In Rekem we found the perfect house in a beautiful location. It is a completely renovated holiday home hidden between the trees in a quiet holiday park. Ideal for nature lovers and those looking for peace and quiet. It is located 7 km from Maastricht, between the Hoge Kempen National Park and the Maasland River Park, a paradise for cyclists and walkers. The house is located on a fully fenced plot of approximately 7 ares and is oriented to the south. The renovated kitchen is fully equipped and there is a wide variety of spices available. You don't have to go to the store for your first coffee or tea. The bathroom has a shower and shampoo, soap, toilet paper... . The stairs to the bedroom are quite steep, so not really suitable for those with mobility problems. In the bedroom there is a Swiss Sense double bed with 2 Gazella comfort IV pocket spring mattresses. Wonderful to sleep in if you like soft mattresses. For those who want to combine teleworking and vacation: there is fast internet and an office space as an extension of the living room. We provide (free) 2 bicycles (1 of which is electric) with a repair kit in case you have a breakdown along the way. The cottage is heated with a wood stove and a pellet stove. The wood and 1 bag of pellets per night are included in the price, as well as 10 kWh of electricity consumption per booked night. No costs will be charged for cleaning as long as the house is left tidy (waste bins empty, vacuumed, etc.). Please note: sheets and kitchen and bathroom linen are not provided or available!
