Happy Guesthouse est une maison d'hôtes née de l'envie de sa propriétaire Sophie de redonner une nouvelle vie à cette ancienne maison de maître qui longtemps abrita la boutique « Emery and Cie », commerce du centre-ville bien connu des Bruxellois et amateurs de décoration.
Alors architecte d'intérieure, et désireuse de développer une activité d'accueil centrée autour de productions exclusivement locales et mettant en avant des réalisations belges, Sophie a repensé entièrement les espaces disponibles, jusqu'à en concevoir le mobilier de chambre.
Mariant l'élégance scandinave, entre bois blond et feutre clair, de son mobilier fonctionnel, intelligent et simple conçu en collaboration avec l'Atelier Dynamo & Julien Renault, avec l'optimisation des espaces et configuration historiques de l'immeuble, la maison d'hôtes offre un savant mélange d'authenticité et de contemporain.
Constituée de 4 chambres, lovées sur les 4 niveaux qu'offrait l'immeuble ancien, ayant chacune sa salle de bain privative, la guesthouse met à disposition de ses hôtes un généreux espace au rez-de-chaussée, allégrement ouvert sur la ville par sa baie vitrée, au rare profil courbe.
Un petit-déjeuner « Home Made », variant le sucré et le salé, et mettant en vedette des produits emblématiques belges, y est servi chaque matin.
En collaboration avec la maison d'édition Dargaud, des bandes dessinées belges en nombreuses langues, fleuron d'une certaine culture belge, y sont mises à disposition des hôtes et convives !
C'est donc entre maison d'hôtes et boutique-hôtel que Happy Guesthouse et sa dynamique équipe réinventent les codes de l'hospitalité !
