I'm Richard, married to Angela. We live near York and spend as much time as we can in Barbados, particularly during the cold winter months! We love to welcome guests into our holiday home and have several who treat it as a home from home, returning regularly. It's designed to be a home with everything a family needs first, and a holiday rental second. So we have sun lounger mattresses, beach chairs, cool boxes and quality furnishings and linens that we choose for ourselves and of course share with guests.

We really like this property because not only is it poolside, but in a traditional chattel style design. We have a lovely veranda, perfect for relaxing, chatting and drinking a Rum Punch or a cool Beer - well that's what we do! Our villa is surrounded by beautiful, well cared for tropical gardens and in a well run and small development, which is secure. We were also attracted by our villa's fabulous location. Porters Court enjoys the best of both worlds - within a peaceful and tranquil garden yet just 4 minutes walk from a beautiful sandy beach with bars and restaurants. Lone Star, Juma's and JuJus are well known bars and restaurants and are a 5 minute stroll away. You do not need to hire a car as the shops, beaches, bars and restaurants of Holetown are a 5 minute bus ride away. Speightstown is a 10 minute bus ride away. The bus stop - with frequent buses - is a 2 minute walk from Sandy Lodge. We want you to feel as at home as we do and we have furnished and equipped our villa in a contemporary style with quality finishes to make you feel comfortable and relaxed and have all you require for a safe and very enjoyable holiday.
