Welcome to Sanja & Aria Apartments in the most beautiful part of Sarajevo. Staying here means being just steps away from Bascarsija, the Latin Bridge (location of the start of the World War I), the National Theatre, and the city’s best cafés, shops, and restaurants. Sanja & Mirza apartments are the perfect base whether you are visiting for a weekend getaway, a business trip, or a longer stay.
Both apartments are spacious two-bedroom homes designed with comfort and functionality in mind. Each has one bedroom with a king-size bed (180x200) and another with a comfortable sofa bed (160x200) where two adults can sleep easily. There is also a separate living room for relaxation, a fully equipped kitchen with dining area for home-style meals, and a large bathroom. To make your stay even easier, both apartments come with air conditioning, a washing machine, ironing facilities, and plenty of storage space – everything you need to feel at home.
Each apartment has its own unique charm:
• Sanja Apartment features two balconies with beautiful views on three sides of the city – perfect for enjoying morning coffee or an evening glass of wine.
• Aria Apartment overlooks Sarajevo’s main street and offers additional facilities such as a second WC and bidet showers, giving you extra comfort and convenience.
Paid parking is available on request, though most city attractions are within walking distance, so you can fully enjoy Sarajevo on foot.
To make your stay even more comfortable, I also provide airport transfers, private shuttle services, and can help arrange guided tours around Sarajevo, Bosnia and the wider region. For guests who need safe and reliable transport at any time – including late evenings – I also offer a dedicated driver service.
I will be happy to welcome you and share local recommendations to make your stay memorable. My goal is to make sure you feel not just like a visitor, but like a local living in the heart of Sarajevo.
Hi, I am Mirza, your host at Sanja & Mirza Apartments. I was born and raised in Sarajevo, and I am passionate about sharing the spirit of my city and country with guests from all over the world. Hosting for me is more than just offering a place to stay – it is about creating experiences that make your visit memorable.
Alongside providing comfortable accommodation in the very heart of Sarajevo, I also offer private tours with my Mercedes GLC SUV for up to 3 persons. These tours are designed to help you discover both the history and natural beauty of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
In Sarajevo, I can take you through the city’s layers of history – from the Ottoman and Austro-Hungarian era to the 1984 Winter Olympics, and the more recent times that shaped our identity, particularly Sarajevo siege. You can also enjoy the stunning nature around the city: Vrelo Bosne, the Skakavac waterfall, or the panoramic views from Trebević, Igman, Bjelašnica, and Jahorina.
If you wish to explore beyond Sarajevo, I organise day trips to some of the country’s most breathtaking places: Mostar with its famous Old Bridge, the spectacular Kravice waterfalls, the charm of Trebinje, the beauty of Jajce and its waterfalls, Bihać on the Una River, or the wide plains of Livno, where you can see wild horses running free.
I enjoy meeting new people, sharing stories, and showing hidden gems that you would not easily find on your own. Whether you are here for culture, history, nature, or simply good company – I will be glad to make your stay in Bosnia and Herzegovina an unforgettable one.
Nestled in the heart of Sarajevo, on prestigious Marsala Tita Street, our residence offers a unique blend of comfort and authentic Bosnian charm. This neighbourhood is considered the city’s most beautiful and desirable area for living, with Austro-Hungarian architecture, tree-lined boulevards, and vibrant atmosphere. Staying here means being surrounded by history, culture, and everyday life at its finest.
A short walk takes you to Bascarsija, the enchanting Ottoman-era bazaar with artisan shops, copperware masters, spice stalls, and teahouses. Just as close is the Latin Bridge, one of Sarajevo’s most famous landmarks, and the National Theatre, which hosts concerts, plays, and festivals throughout the year.
Food lovers will enjoy the nearby dining options – from traditional Bosnian restaurants serving cevapi and freshly baked pita, to modern cafes, bakeries, and international cuisine. Coffee shops and lively bars are tucked away on every corner, making it easy to relax and experience the city like a local.
This neighbourhood also connects you to Sarajevo’s rich past and diverse culture. Within minutes you can explore Ottoman mosques, Orthodox and Catholic churches, and the city’s synagogue – all symbols of Sarajevo’s centuries-old coexistence. Museums, galleries, and historic sites are nearby, including the Sarajevo Museum, which tells the story of the event that sparked World War I.
For those who enjoy nature and views, the cable car to Trebevic Mountain is close, offering hiking trails, fresh air, and scenery. Public transport, taxis, and walking routes make it easy to explore further afield, from peaceful Vrelo Bosne park to the Olympic mountains of Bjelasnica, Igman, and Jahorina.
With its perfect location, cultural landmarks, lively atmosphere, and Bosnian spirit, this neighbourhood captures everything that makes Sarajevo unique. It is the ideal starting point for discovering the city – historic, sophisticated, and full of life.
