Originally opened in the early seventies, the park rapidly expanded when a unique 8 rink grassed bowling green was established in the early eighties. Further improvements include a large recreation room with giant movie screen, camp kitchen, deluxe chalet accommodation, pet friendly accommodation, unique social events programme (including meal nights, bowling carnivals, fundraising concerts), dump point, wireless internet, fish cleaning facility, swimming pool, children’s playground, off leash dog exercise area and accreditation with the Caravan and Recreational Vehicle Association.

The museum was opened by US Astronaut Buzz Aldrin in 2012 and it is set in the old Carnarvon Space Tracking Station which played an intergral part in the 1963 Apollo 11 moon landing mission.
