We have been hosting since 2013. We absolutely adore this property and have a keen interest in its history (some of which you can read about in the 'Tara-Lee' Information Book), its restoration and upkeep. We love hosting guests, as do the wonderful staff and personnel who help keep the property brilliantly clean, maintained and presented. We welcome you to 'Tara-Lee' and know that you will have a relaxing, peaceful and memorable time staying at this beautiful property.

'Tara-Lee' is a beautiful, historic home and walking through its front door is truly a unique step back in time experience. Built in 1910, it is a magnificent example of Australian Federation architecture. Beautifully restored, it boasts traditional elegance and original features alongside contemporary living conveniences. It is the perfect location for your Hunter Valley get-away. It is close to concert venues, wineries and the Hunter Valley Gardens. This superior property is conveniently located on Convent Hill and within very close walking distance to the Cessnock town centre. 'Tara-Lee' is ideal for 1 to 9 guests for short or long stays. Enjoy its private and quiet garden, BBQ, verandas and in-ground salt water pool while outside and enjoy its fireplace, large, well-equipped kitchen, smart TV with surround sound and beautiful decor while inside. The property is fully fenced and pet-friendly. Guests receive a complimentary bottle of local wine and chocolates on arrival. We know you will enjoy your stay at this stunning home.

'Tara-Lee' is located in a quiet and well presented neighborhood on Convent Hill in the centre of Cessnock. Bridges Park is located close by with its amazing play equipment and walking tracks around the hill and into the main street of Cessnock. The area boasts some of Australia's finest wineries with over 180 in the district. There are many unique activities nearby such as flying in a jet fighter or aerobatics flight, ballooning, shopping, enjoying unique desserts at the dessert bar and incredible dining experiences at the many restaurants and cafes. You'll love Cessnock and the Hunter Valley!
