Tall Timber Tasmania was built in 1989 as testament to the timber pioneers who settled the surrounding Circular Head region. It was constructed from 95% local timbers including Tasmanian Oak, Blackwood, Sassafras, Myrtle and Celery Top Pine, as well as floors and fireplaces made with rustic stone taken from nearby quarries. As one of its largest employers, Tall Timbers contributes a significant amount to the regional economy in wages as well as goods & services purchased from predominantly local suppliers. Tall Timbers is an avid supporter of the community through sponsorship of local sports teams and charitable donations. Tall Timbers Hotel is situated in the far North West of Tasmania within the community of Circular Head. The region is a thriving agricultural hub, business centre and tourist destination.
