Strandmarken

Strandmarken is a place that instantly provides you with a feeling of relaxation, as it is privately nestled in the native bush between sand dunes. You can smell and hear the ocean and with only a few steps your feet will feel the fine sand of Island Beach and present you with the amazing view of the bay. From your time of arrival it is your choice of how to spend your days at Strandmarken. Popular activities are relaxing walks on the beach, swimming, enjoying reading a book at the beach, beach games, fishing or if you are staying at the house, watching the wildlife and enjoying the sounds of nature, playing games, watching movies, enjoying an outside bath in the bush which is most beautiful at night. Strandmarken has been in our family for over 20 years and has created many fond memories for everyone. We hope that it will do the same for everyone that visits. Over the years the island has created many places that are worthwhile visiting such as the beautiful wineries, the gin place, KI brewery, cafes and restaurants with local produce. Additional we recommend the ocean salaries at Christmas cove or Emu bay, both are fantastic and visiting the National and Conservation parks.
