We are a friendly and welcoming couple loving life in the tranquil beauty of Rosevears. Jan is a Retail Manager and Pete runs a graphic design studio from home called Oxley Office. We both enjoy the arts and design while staying fit walking and rock climbing. We love to offer first-class hospitality through our Ou+look BnB and give guests a memorable experience in Tasmania. THE OU+LOOK BNB The BnB is a highly rated and sought after executive private apartment adjoining our house. Six separate living spaces comprising of a superb viewing deck, kitchenette, double bedroom, lounge/library, bathroom and toilet all accessed by a wide hallway where with a gallery space. There is a private three-bay parking space dedicated to our guests right by the apartment. The apartment is single level and has easy access from the parking bay. The bedroom has a good queen size bed with high cotton count sheets. The lounge offers a new 50 inch smart TV with built-in wifi access to Netflix and YouTube if you have your own subscribed account details to log in with. There is also an extensive library of graphic design, architecture and art books that can be accessed on request. A strong wifi signal is available throughout the apartment and USB charging point exists in the kitchenette. The well-equipped kitchenette incorporates a fridge freezer, microwave, sink, toaster and kettle. Generous supplies and a free continental breakfast on offer. NOTE THERE IS NO HOB OR OVEN. A MICROWAVE IS PROVIDED.

The area is in the heart of the wine trail along the River Tamar with fantastic views all the way to Ben Lomond. The immediate location has very quiet neighbours and we ask for the same in return from our guests during your relaxing break. It is country quiet here and it has a lovely array of bird life through the seasons from Rosellas to Galahs. We are within walking distance of the famous Rosevears Tavern and situated directly under Tamar Ridge winery where one can have the best wine tasting experience with a view. A gorgeous cafe experience can be had at nearby Elmslie and all shopping amenities are served at nearby Legana or Exeter. Numerous other superb wineries are within a 20 minute drive, in particular do not miss Moores Hill and Iron Pot Bay, the latter a secret haunt of ours offering gourmet local food. The West Tamar Highway up on the ridge runs directly to Launceston in an easy 15 minute drive. Going the other way one can reach beautiful Greens Beach and Narawntapu National Park in 30 minutes. The road beneath our house runs a long way down the River Tamar with stunning views and is the premier spot for a cycle ride if you have brought yours with you.
