Novotel Melbourne Preston is located in Melbourne's vibrant inner north and features 383 guestrooms and suites. Many of our rooms offer floor-to-ceiling views of the city or the Dandenong ranges with an abundance of natural light. Boasting the latest design and bespoke furniture, the hotel is home to a great restaurant, café and resort style facilities with a 24 hour gym and sauna. Just 20 minutes from both the Melbourne CBD and the airport, the hotel is conveniently accessible, has 600 onsite parking spaces and public transport options within walking distance. From the bus stop just opposite to the train station 10 minutes by foot and the 86 tram just minutes away. The tram is a great way to explore Melbourne. It will take you to the CBD en route some of the coolest neighborhoods as you travel along Northcote’s High Street, Collingwood and Fitzroy.

Melbourne’s inner north is filled with character. Eclectic pockets of vintage shops, cafés, bars and a diverse range of restaurants will make you wonder if you ever need to leave or where to start. Pick up some locally designed wares, visit a local brewery or just explore the multicultural center around Preston Market. Guests will find Preston a lively suburb, loved by locals and visitors alike. High Street runs adjacent to the hotel and boasts a range of restaurants, cafes, bars and shops, all just a ten-minute drive away. The nearby Northland Shopping Centre is one of Melbourne’s largest retail shopping destinations, with more than 300 specialty stores including Myer, Kmart, Coles and a Hoyts Cinema. Thornbury is Preston’s famous neighbour, but they are so intertwined that you can hardly make out where one starts and the other ends. It also sits alongside Reservoir to the North, Darebin Creek to the east, Edgars and Merri Creek to the west. The creeks are surrounded by lush parkland with long cycling and walking tracks.
