These 8 boutique cottages are designed for couples looking for a relaxing retreat in a nature based alpine village environment. They have a touch of old world charm whilst still integrating modern comforts and are within a short stroll to Marysville's cafes and shops. Classic features included in some of the cottages are a claw foot bath, box window seat, timber flooring, stained-glass windows and gas log fires. Other indulgent features available are a luxury deep-soaking bath or double spa bath. We do not cater for children or pets mainly to preserve the ambience for our guests. Three of the eight cottages have space for an extra adult guest, via a Sofa bed. Our guests are free to wander through the shared space of the grounds and enjoy the gardens and birdlife. Once your booking has been processed, you will automatically receive a 10 digit Door Code within 48 hours of your arrival time to your mobile as a text or to your email address. On arrival there is no need to see a reception desk. Check-in to your cottage anytime after 2pm is easy and private with your provided door code.

Marysville and surrounds has a deep history associated with the gold rush, the timber industry and tourism. Lake Mountain is just 20 minutes drive from Marysville and is Melbourne's closest snowfield offering tobogganing and cross country skiing in the winter and mountain biking and sight seeing in the green season. Marysville has many bush walking trails close to town that offer breathtaking views and crystal clear streams. (Marysville's water was voted the Best in Australia and second best on the world level in 2016). There are great Restaurants and Cafe's in and close to Marysville. Each cottage has its own private car parking space for guests. Public transport: McKenzie Bus Lines come through Marysville twice daily on their journey between Melbourne and Eildon. The bus stop is in the heart of town, just a 5 minute walk from the cottages, next to the bakery.
