Immerse Kangaroo Island creates a simple but stunning accommodation experience that will excite the senses. Situated on 20 acres on the south coast of the island, at D’Estrees Bay, this environmentally sound dwelling sits lightly upon the landscape. Designed by Troppo Architects, the finely crafted structure invites in the picturesque views toward the south coast of South Australia's Kangaroo Island. Guests will feel part of the landscape, gazing out at unrivalled views of the local flora, fauna and the Southern Ocean while relaxing in an interior made warm and comfortable with local timbers and contemporary fabrics. Outside, landscaping with local native vegetation cleverly frames long views of the beaches and the wild coast.

Here on D’Estrees Bay, outdoor possibilities are on the very doorstep. Cape Gantheaume Conservation Park and Wilderness Protection Area offer white sandy beaches, local walking trails, fishing, snorkelling, diving and surfing. From this cosy accommodation there’s a sense of unblinkered exploration. Further afield, guests will find KI’s own easy-going Island culture, with unique art, food, wine and other local produce to explore.
