The Blackmore family moved to Elfin Hill 25 yrs ago where it is a happy, relaxed and peaceful spot to live. We really enjoy the company and meeting of guests from all over the world and have made many friends on the way. We are water lovers, which seems strange since we have lived in the country for many years. We get to wake up everyday to the Kookaburras, enjoy the beautiful bird life and visits from the kangaroos. Stunning sun sets over the Brokenback ranges. Join us here and enjoy the peaceful Australian bush surrounds, excellent accommodation and hospitality, looking out over the neighbours vineyards, the Brokenback mountain range, with what has to be, the most magnificent view in the Hunter Valley!

Elfin Hill, the first accommodation built within the vineyard area. Having a unique elevated position with spectacular views, we are within the dress circle of the original grape growers. We are proud owners, sharing our peaceful space with our family and travellers is very rewarding & enjoyable to us, It is so lovely to meet other people, we enjoy their company. We love what we do. Our property has 7 rows of table grapes, the best view and stunning sunsets, peaceful, relaxing and serene making it a tranquil environment to relax. There are chickens, organic gardens and fruit trees. Bees = honey. We rely totally on harvested rainwater,filtered and toally safe to drink. we recycle everything we possibly can and have solar energy for power and hot water. We are well on the way to being "green" - We care about our environment. The salt water swimming pool is refreshing and perfect for cooling off after a day out enjoying the Hunter Valley and all it has to offer. Come and stay and enjoy the experience.

Surrounded by vineyards and some grazing cattle we have a fabulous neighbourhood.Our community is supportive and super friendly. Peacefully tucked away yet so close to all the very best that the wine region has to offer. We enjoy the cellar doors close by for wine tasting, amazing golf courses and restaurants to dine.The stunning Hunter Valley gardens, with the constant events thru out the year, especially the Christmas lights and the very best of the best on the world stage of live concerts featuring famous musicians - right on our doorstep. Not too far from Newcastle with excellent surfing beaches and Nelson Bay Dolphin & Whale watching, huge sand dunes and camel rides, therefore providing us with the perfect location to live. The upper Hunter region, only a short drive provides another dimension of the area. Horse studs, beautiful countryside and quaint wineries. The Wollombi historical town is a very interesting village. All so close to Elfin Hill.
