Butterfly Cottage is a two bedroom cottage with open plan living and kitchen area. It is set in a pretty spot in a private subdivision within walking distance of the CBD. The cottage has private parking and is pet friendly. There is a small fenced yard at the back of the cottage.

I am passionate about quilting and organise quilting retreats in Tumut and Bali. We have Butterfly Cottage and Russellee BnB as accommodation for quilters at Tumut and other visitors to the area.

Tumut region attracts visitors all year round with a host of recreational activities. Summer includes water sports on the now famous Blowering Dam, picnics by the rivers and streams, bush walks, mountain bike tracks and 4WD trails. Winter is a time to discover the mountains with a blanket of snow and the ski resort of Mt Selwyn; just a one hour drive. Autumn and spring show the wonderful colours of the landscape and the milder temperatures invite you on scenic drives to explore the historic towns of Adelong, Batlow and Tumbarumba as well as localities such as Kiandra and Yarrangobilly. Stop at the road side fruit stalls displaying local seasonal produce or throw in a line for the catch of the day.
