Located in the heart of Hobart CBD (Central Business District), 100 metres from the Hobart City Bus Station, Backpackers Imperial Hotel offers free WiFi throughout the whole building. It is within walking distance of Salamanca Place which is home to the famous Saturday Market. The property is situated upstairs of the historic Imperial Building, first established in 1870. It is a 5-minute walk from the Hobart waterfront and the MONA Ferry. Hobart International Airport is 19 minutes’ drive away. There are cafes, shops, museums and transport options within 200 metres of the property. Accommodation options include private and dormitory rooms. All rooms have access to shared bathroom facilities. The guest lounge has many sofas and a widescreen TV. You will also enjoy cooking in the large shared kitchen and dining area.
