Situated in the heart of the Salzkammergut with mountains all around, Rosenhof is perfectly located for exploring the area. You can visit the beautiful mountain lakes of Langbathsee or Offensee or the larger lakes such as Traunsee, Lake Hallstatt, Wolfgangsee or Attersee, or take a day trip to Salzburg. There are many walking trails to explore in Summer, cycle paths and activities on the lakes. In Winter it is a 5 minute drive to the Feuerkogel cable car with it's ski area and snow shoe hiking trails.
