At the accommodation the rooms are fitted with air conditioning and a safety deposit box. The breakfast is basic, but price/performance is perfect. There's butter, peanut butter and some sauces. There's a toaster for the bread. Each person gets two eggs per breakfast by opting out the preparation way - scrambled, boiled, Spanish omelet... Fruits is abundant (watermelon and papaya during my stay). Instant coffee and couple of variates of a Tanzanian tea are an option as well. Juice is available also.

The vibe was really good and it was like being in a really big family. The owner was really welcoming and he was organizing so many things for the group where you could just decide to join or not. The atmosphere was so good and everyone was just really chill. I would definitely recommend it if you're looking for a good time.

Vegetarian, halal and vegan options can also be requested. I can't say enough good things about this place! Perfectly situated and beautifully decorated. The staff are all incredibly friendly and attentive. The food is excellent, the best we've ever tasted on Zanzibar. I booked it last min, the night before and messaged asking could I leave my luggage before a tour. She messaged instantly and left me in, even though I arrived even earlier than expected at 7.15am. She ensures your comfort and gives advice for tours/ restaurants. Private beds with curtains. Each bed also has a modern socket with USB & AC adapters. There are lockers with keys. Very new, just 4 months. There’s a kitchen area and bookings are blocked to make sure that there are not too many people in the room, but allow for more if travelling in one big group.

I booked a bed in a four bedded dorm and I was taken aback at the spaciousness of the room which was air-conditioned and had 2 fans. The beds were tidied up daily by the housekeeping staff. The shared baths and toilets were spotlessly clean. The additional bonus was having a tea and coffee trolley outside the room. Aishah who works there as a receptionist is a gem of a person... helpful, kind and soft spoken. The other staff there are equally very polite.
