With free WiFi, this 1-star hostel offers an ATM and a tour desk. The accommodation provides airport transfers, while a bicycle rental service is also available. Check-in was super simple. The room was spotless as well as the bathroom. I was suprised to find the room had a mini fridge.

The units at the hostel come with a seating area. Khaolak inn features certain units that feature city views, and every room has a private bathroom with a shower. At the accommodation, all rooms are equipped with air conditioning and a TV. This property was exceptional for the value. Room was meticulously cleaned and very spacious with a large bedroom, bathroom, and even balcony. Air conditioning worked amazing! The location was absolutely perfect - several shops and 7/11 within a minute walk away and very close to the beach! Aside from the facilities being amazing - the staff were super friendly and the owner went above and beyond to make our stay amazing! He offered us many well priced tours and gave us recommendations for what to do (and not do) in the area. He recommended us not to visit the waterfalls at this time of year but did humorously suggest we check out his (big) waterfall in the front of the hotel - pictured below 😃👏🏼 ! If you are in the area I would 100% reccomend this place!

The locker in the room is big enough to store our belongings. There is a fridge, a kettle and a microwave we can use. The location is a bit far from the beach but just in front of the night market, it’s better to rent a scooter to get to the beach as the best beach in Khao Lak are a bit further.
