The hostel completely met our expectations. Its location is super convenient to start trips and hikes towards Triglav mountain and the mountain area. Rooms and bed were cozy and clean and it provides with a great opportunity to meet new friends. And most importantly, the staff were super friendly, they are really nice people.

The centre of Villach is a 10-minute walk from the Jugend- und Familiengästehaus, which offers simply furnished rooms. Breakfast and half-board are available, and at a surcharge, a sauna can be used.

Loved the location for its proximity to the lake (beware, it’s a struggle to get back up the hill to the accommodation). Colleen is a very sweet and approachable hostess. Rooms and bathrooms are kept very clean. Mattresses are quite comfortable. Friendly atmosphere.
