It was very cozy, tasteful, and perfectly equipped. There was everything we could need. We loved its location in a quiet north coast area. The sound of the ocean did not bother us at all, we liked it, we could sleep there very well. The owners were very attentive, a bottle of good wine, fruits, biscuits, a bottle of milk, cornflakes and other courtesies of the house were waiting for us. The restaurants they recommended were very good. My only surprise was an additional fee of 40€ for late check-in (at 23:00). Unfortunately, we could not manage to arrive sooner since the flight schedule.

I really liked staying in Jaca hostel. It felt like a real hostel. We were spending time together so had a chance to meet someone and plan activity. Burgers were yummy dont skip on those. Located in Funchal and with Marina do Funchal reachable within 2 km, FX Pena provides a tour desk, non-smoking rooms, a garden, free WiFi and a terrace. We had an amazing stay at this hotel during our trip to Madeira! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to assist with a smile. The rooms and facilities were spotless, and the atmosphere was peaceful, perfect for relaxation. The location was also good—convenient and close to everything we needed. Highly recommend!

Bed linen and towel included in price. Great location 5 mins from city center. Very helpful staff. Highly recommend and would like to stay there again.

Amazing staff, trust and non problematic atmosphere. The smoothest check in. I met there fanatic people, that straight away became my family.
