This was a fantastic manner house with a big beautiful room overlooking the castle ruins. There was a small shared kitchen with everything we needed to cook a meal. We were there on a weekday and it was great value. The owner was good about our bikes and let us bring them inside.

The location of the hostel is unbeatable—right in the heart of the historic center—making it easy to explore the city’s main attractions on foot. The rooms were clean and comfortable, providing excellent value for money. The staff also allowed us to keep our luggage at reception until the evening, which added to the convenience of our stay. Overall, the combination of a prime location, attentive and friendly staff, and comfortable accommodations made this a memorable visit. I will definitely come back to Hostel Starówka on my next trip to Zamość and highly recommend it to other travelers looking for a welcoming and well-located place to stay.

Very large room, but low ceiling in the corner and there was no lighting in the whole room where the table was, the light was not enough. There was light only at the entrance and then only 2 light bulbs. But the owner is very kind and polite so I hope he will fix it. And it will be a nice big room with its own toilet that is not broken.
