They have built a sense of community there that is really enjoyable, especially for someone like me who traveled solo. I managed to go be referred to a gym, train with the hostel staff, eat every night at a family diner and participate in island tours organized by the staff. Rooms are cleaned regularly and the bed sheets are the best. Also, breakfast is included, which was a huge plus for me.

Located around 2 km from Solangon Beach, the hostel is also 2.3 km away from Tubod Beach. We stayed 2 nights in one of the cabins with the family and had a great experience. We tried to book again when we returned to San Juan but the place was fully booked. It is walking distance from the beach and many restaurants and cafes, yet it is set back from the main road a bit so it doesn't come with the intensity of traffic and noise. On the contrary, it's set in a peaceful garden setting. We rented the Aventura TukTuk for a week, which was an absolute joy to explore Siquijor with the family. A much preferred option over renting 2 motorbikes with our kids and bags. I highly recommend it for families, both the Guesthouse and the TukTuk.

Facilities include a sun terrace and free WiFi is available. The beds were comfy, and the bathrooms were big! The common area was nice and open air. Also Mama Rita was so so kind and brought my friend and I to see some of the sights, as neither of us could ride a bike! The staff are so lovely and nice as well, and were extremely helpful! Location is great for the beach, only a 5 min walk and a 15min walk to the town where a lot of restaurants are.
