There is a small kitchen that can be used, which is great for a long-term stay. The owner/manager, he is super nice to welcome every traveler. I can not speak Spanish, for me it is a bit difficult to communicate with locals, and he, and is his staff is really friendly to help me with assistance. One night I was sitting outside using my laptop under cold temperatures, the owner asked me I could go indoor cuz it was cold. I told him that it should be fine, then in the next 5 minutes his staff delivered a blanket to me! (How touching it was!)

All guest rooms feature a wardrobe. Owner Romulo and his staff are so nice, they are always ready to help and tell you everything about Cusco. The hostal is on the outskirts of the city (close to some Inca relics) and I had to catch ride to MachuPichu at 3am, Romulo was really considerate that he said it’s probably hard to hire Uber so he booked a cab for me and ensure a fair price is charged. The room is clean and cozy, very good value. I hope the best for everything for them. Hopefully one day I return and chill with them!

Manuel Chavez Ballon Museum is 19 km from the hostel. This was the most wonderful accommodation! The staff were lovely, greeting us with a cold drink was a perfect way to start our time there. They gave us a free tour of the coffee plantation and showed us the full process from plant to cup; we then shared coffee and were given afternoon tea as well! Both dinner and breakfast were absolutely delicious as well. Cannot praise these wonderful people enough, we loved staying here.

The accommodation is extremely well maintained and beautifully set within restored historic walls right in the center of Cusco. I could walk everywhere which made exploring the city very easy. The check in process was flexible and smooth, and I received many excellent local recommendations that made my stay even better. The hosts were exceptionally attentive and friendly. They took real time to help with every question and made me feel genuinely welcomed. Casa Terra is a place with great character, comfort and warm hospitality. I would happily stay here again and can recommend it without hesitation.
