Mike, the owner, is an excellent chef. We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast and dinner. He speaks many languages so communication was easy. We learned a lot from him about the area. TORIO is a very small rural location in a lush tropical setting with very friendly people. Nearby is Playa TORIO which has good swimming.

Everything! Loved the location so much! If u want to learn surfing is great! We stayed at the dorm, comfy beds, toilet cleaned daily and with aircon which is great to have. Absolutely loved that hostel, would come back. Staff was so nice and the location is amazing. Keep in mind is 20min walking from “town” but I enjoyed the walks too.

Everything was great- the beds had private space, lockers, power points, fans. The dorm room had AC overnight (or during the day if you asked for it) which combined with the good mattreses made a very comfortable sleep. The bathroom was clean, the kitchen was clean and well equipped. Breakfast was really good and they were happy to make it a little early if needed because of dive times. All the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The chillout areas are well designed at the front of the hostel which creates a very relaxed and engaging atmosphere. I 100% recommend.

I liked the vibe. The recepcionist girl is so-so kind and helpful! The AC works properly during the night. Everything was clean, also a lady always made super pancakes with fresh fruits and also coffee (it was included in the price). For the price, what you pay for, definitely worth it.

The staff were friendly and bilingual. The property's interior design was to a very high finish throughout. An effort was made for it to be eco friendly. The menu was limited but each plate was delicious and used produce from the lodge's garden. I highly recommend this property.
