Good location and great for backpackers (we don’t like backpacking) so hard to review properly but it had all the facilities it needed. We moved hotels due to the noise during the night from other travellers but it was overall a nice hostel.

- great location (right in the CBD, next to InterCity bus stop, close to Coastal Walkway) - facilities (washing machine, kitchen etc.) - cheap - they had at least one cat - very nice and helpful staff - informed me before my stay that it might be noisy at night

The room was spacious and very clean and warm the decor was a little dated BUT it was one of their budget rooms. So if you wanted more modern just pay a little extra ( we didn't need to as were not in the room much). Great location and staff are super friendly.
