Lots of space for hanging clothes and bags. The 6 woman's dorm was great and had an own bathroom. The kitchen was clean and it was quiet during the night.

Haka House Queenstown Lakefront is the ideal home away from home for travellers seeking comfort and convenience in the heart of New Zealand's adventure capital. It was easy to get to from the airport by bus. Plus, there was Ben Lomond Trail right behind the hostel, so I was able to enjoy the nature! The hike was the highlight of my trip!

With the best location in town, locally owned On Top Backpackers & Apartments has something for every traveller! Great hostel for backpackers !! Very comfy and cosy room, great common areas and free breakfast !! Everything was super clean and the staff is really nice. Would def recommend it as a solo backpacker, I booked the female only 4beds room and was only sharing it with one other girl. Loved it, the location is amazing to go around Dunedin. Don’t hesitate to ask where to park for free they have some tips for you !

The room was average, but the beds were comfortable, with a warm and soft duvet. The curtain around the bed was super useful, and the built-in light was a great touch. The kitchen was well-equipped and tidy, and the bathrooms were clean. Excellent location. I’d definitely recommend this place for both short and long stays.
