This beautiful seaside accommodation provided everything and more than I expected. I decided to book the first three nights to rest after catching an illness and I ended up spending five nights there because it was so peaceful and homely; it honestly felt like recuperating at my own house. The room was comfy, warm and clean, the toilets spotless and the showers hot and roomy. The kitchen is modern and really well equipped, especially for such a small place. It had everything and beyond of what I needed. The lounge is super cozy and has a great view of the seaside while the garden is a great place to enjoy a meal in the sun. All of the staff were super friendly and the owner kept on checking how I was feeling which I found really nice. Not to mention the value, which is beyond great for what you get, with a great location and comfortable stay. Overall, it is thanks to Moana Lodge that I'm back on the road so quickly and I'll never forget my time there.

Check in was so easy and very friendly staff, the room are nice, specious and clean, the beds are huge for hostel to be honest and very comfortable and quiet, no need to worry about noise in the night. There is light and electricity next to the bed. Also the door makes it very private capsule. Another nice touch was barber and coffee in the lobby with huge kitchen to cook own meals. It’s really paradise, can’t wait to return it again.

Everything in the hostel was great. Dale (David maybe I'm not sure) checked me in, gave me places to visit while I was there and was helpful in just being friendly face to see that day. Rock climbing wall discount is helpful but advise going with a second person for comfort. Can't speak highly enough about the hostel it was perfect.
