The room is quite nice too, has everything you need, much better than what we expected. Location of the Crash palace is excellent, would definitely come back if I find myself in Rotorua again!

Rotorua Downtown Backpackers is a modern hostel is located in the heart of Rotorua across the road from the I-Site and major bus lines.

Accommodation includes private rooms or dormitory-style rooms. All are heated and have linen provided. The private rooms offer fans and a desk. All have access to shared bathroom facilities. This was the third time staying at this hostel. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly, kitchen and toilets are always very clean, the bed was very comfortable.

Kitchen area and lounge area were fine, good for a short stay .
