The dorm beds were comfortable (and each had their own fan). There are nice places to chill, it’s well laid out, and the restaurant prices are very reasonable. When it’s not cloudy, you get a great view of volcano Concepcion from the 2nd floor. Irs pretty easy to chat with other travelers.

At the hostel, every room is equipped with a patio with a garden view. All units at Sophie House are equipped with a private bathroom and bed linen. It was friendly, quite the garden was a nice place to relax .the breakfast was really nice and included in the price. It was about a 15-minute walk from town.

The gardens are beautiful, and I loved learning about their oyster mushroom cultivation. i loved yoga, tours, and pizza night! The atmosphere was friendly and the food was fresh and delicious. Highly recommended!

Nice distance from the party on a Wednesday so no issues with sleeping. Staff were super helpful. Easy to rent a scooter at the accomodation to get to all the main sights.

The accommodation provides a shared kitchen and free WiFi throughout the property. The place was very clean and tidy, tranquil, and no noise at night which is rare in Nicaragua because there's always someone making some noise. The food was quality, homemade vegan goodness. Making a fire was cool and it has all the modern amenities like a fridge and cooking equipment so you can bring beer. Didn't have any bugs unlike some of the other hostels i stayed in on Ometepe. It's quite a good location equidistance between the two towns and near the start of Volcan Concepción. I recommend renting an ATV rather than a scooter at the port and picking it up in Ometepe, don't trust the people on the San Jorge side. The hostel also offers scooter rental although I picked mine up at port. Very photogenic hostel and peaceful.

Learned this was one of the original hostels on Ometepe. Breakfasts and dinners were freshly prepared with local ingredients. Their dogs and cats were very nice to spend time with. The hosts can lease scooters and deliver them for competitive prices. Communication with host prior to and during stay was excellent.

The hostel offers an à la carte or vegan breakfast. I got here by accident, after being traumatised by seeing a scorpion in the bed of another place I was about to check in prior. Super happy I got to this place, it deserves 10 ++! The dorm for 25 dollars was an absolute amazing experience, you could hear the waves, it felt like you were on a cruiseship! Dorm is spacious and very comfortable.the bunk beds were designed in a very practical way that gives you a lot of comfort.you have dedicated space and locker in the bed itself for extra stuff to put in there. The room is big, airy, high ceilings, lots of natural light. The building is made of concrete walls and windows, which prevents scorpions from coming in like the wooden houses would. Not sure if the shower had hot water or I didn't know how to turn it on. There are events every night. People at the restaurant and reception very friendly and polite.I wish they had more Nicaraguan food and less international mixes, but you can always go find places to eat outside. At night it is pitch dark on the road, so make sure you are accompanied/have a flash on you.
