Some rooms have air conditioning with a surcharge. We loved staying at Hostel la Candelaria. The guy in the reception was very helpful and told us many things about the history of Campeche. We took a private double bedroom, which was very comfortable and cosy. Kitchen facilities are good, toilets and showers were clean and the garden is lovely, colourful and full of plants. Breakfast was also very good. Location is perfect, it’s pretty close to the city center in a quiet square.

The attentiveness, kindness, and helpfulness of the whole operation from the top down to the staff is top notch. Love their vibe! I enjoyed catching a breeze in the evening, chilling in the hammock under soft, warm lighting, while listening to music. The ambiance and energy was all positive. 👌🏽
