we loved our stay at casa xtakay. we had the privat double room which was very spacious and nicely decorated. My girlfriend had there the best night sleep in all of our Mexico trip - it was very quite and the bed was comfortable. The host is extremely nice :) He gave us great recommendation about restaurants and cenotes :) In the morning you can count on local breakfast prepared by the hosts which is very tasty and different every day :)

This place is pure magic! It feels like something out of a Wes Anderson movie - every detail is so thoughtfully designed. We booked a private room, which was beautiful and spacious, with a stunning bathroom, but honestly, the whole vibe of the place makes also the shared rooms look very appealing 💕 It’s not right in the center, but with Uber being so affordable here, getting around was super easy and never an issue. The girls at the reception were all incredibly kind and helpful, always making sure we were having a great time. A special shoutout to Jo, who gave us so many great tips 🙏🏼 We truly hope to come back here again someday!

Very attentive and helpful staff, the owner gave super cool tips for restaurants and what to visit! Also they have tour options to offer. Really enjoyed our stay. Swimming pool and backyard are super nice. Comfortable and clean room. The location is very central, next to all restaurants and shops, on the same road as the bus stop. No breakfast available (would love some but we knew that, so it wasn’t a problem). No room service at least for short stays (2 nights). Would highly recommend.

The people working at the hostel really make you feel at home. Besides the facilities, like the hammocks, pool and breakfast are great add-ons. Also the walking distance to the ADO stop is great; it's around the corner.
