The property is around 2.7 km from Playa del Carmen Maritime Terminal, 49 km from Xel Ha and 35 km from Kantenah Bay. The hostel provides a terrace and a 24-hour front desk. This was probably the best hostel I stayed during my 1-month trip in Mexico. The hostel is more like a hotel, well located, comfortable and clean. The staff was extremely helpful too!

Chetumal International Airport is 34 km from the property. Spacious and clean room, comfortable bed, nice extra touches like coffee, water and a small fridge, walking distance to everything you need. Would definitely recommend Ukayil!

It offers the perfect balance of socializing and relaxation—I love meeting wonderful people, and the quiet time after 11 PM is both respected and appreciated. The shared kitchen is spacious and well-equipped, making it easy to prepare healthy meals. It's one of the best hostels I've ever stayed in! The location is also ideal—right in the center of Tulum, just a five-minute walk from the ADO station. The staff and owner are absolutely lovely and incredibly helpful. They went out of their way to accommodate an important meeting I had, and I’m so grateful for their kindness. Highly recommend!
